<mallymkun> reisti kross þenna eptir <malmury> fóstra sín, dóttur Dufgals, kona er Aðísl átti. Betra er leifa fóstra góðan en son illan.
English
<Mallymkun> raised this cross in memory of <Malmury>, his foster(-mother?), Dufgal's daughter, the wife whom Aðísl owned (= was married to). (It) is better to leave a good foster-son than a wretched son.
