Sigurðr Jarlssonr reist rúnar þessar laugardaginn eptir Bótulfsmessu, er hann flýði hingat ok vildi eigi ganga til sættar við Sverri fôðurbana sinn ok brœðra.

English

Sigurðr Jarl's son carved these runes on the Saturday after Bótulfr's-mass when he fled here and did not want to undergo reconciliation with Sverrir, the slayer of his father and brothers.
