Hrólfr ok Áskell reistu stein þenna eptir Hlífstein, fôður sinn, er varð dauðr á Skáney í Garðstôngum, ok fœrðu á Finnheiði.

English

Hrólfr and Áskell raised this stone in memory of Hlífsteinn, their father, who died in Skáney in Garðstangir and (they) brought (him) to Finnheiðr.
