Forkunnr lét reisa stein ok brú þessa eptir Þorgeir, son sinn, ok eptir Ásgísl/Ásgeir. Guð hjalpi ônd þeira ok Guðs mær góð.

English

Forkunnr had the stone raised and this bridge (made) in memory of Þorgeirr, his son, and in memory of Ásgísl/Ásgeir. May God and God's good maid help their spirits.
