Gýi lét reisa ok Guðlaug eptir son sinn, mjôk nýtan dreng, merki þessi. Hann hét Sigfastr.
English
Gýi and Guðlaug had these landmarks raised in memory of their son, a very capable valiant man. He was called Sigfastr.
