Sassurr lét reisa stein eptir Hallvarð, fôður sinn, druknaði hann úti með alla(?) skipara. Endgi(?) æ Kristr hjalpi sálu hans. Steinn þenna standi eptir.

English

Sassurr had the stone raised in memory of Hallvarðr, his father, (who) drowned abroad with all the(?) seamen. May Christ ever(?) help his soul. May this stone stand in memory.
