Þá, um þat sumar létu þeir brœðr Erlingr ok Auðun hôggva til kirkju þessar, er Erlingr jarl fell í Niðarósi.
English
That was the summer which the brothers Erlingr and Auðun had (the wood) cut for this church, when Earl Erlingr fell in Nidaros.
