þefa har av Källström (1997:32) tolkats som *Þæfa, l-khas har Källström (a.a. s.32) tolkat som en sammansättning av 'lock' och 'grå'. Williams tolkar det som namnet Lik(n)gæiR (se Lagman 1990:93).
